An electronic cigarette or e-cigarette is an electronic device used for heating of flavored liquid to create vapor, which can be inhaled through a special mouthpiece. Unlike the combustion of tobacco in a regular cigarette, this process avoids the consumption of toxic substances and carcinogens present in the smoke of a regular cigarette.

An electronic cigarette consists of two main elements:

1. Mod/Battery.
2. Atomizer (itself consisting of a tank and a heating element (coil)).
   You also need to add e-liquid that matches your electronic cigarette to start vaping.

The delivery of nicotine helps to cope with the withdrawal associated with smoking cessation, similar to replacements that can be found in a pharmacy (patches, chewing gum, etc.). Currently, there are several types of electronic cigarettes suitable for different categories of users, from vaping beginners to more experienced ones. The main function remains the same: a battery that provides electricity and a coil that heats the e-liquid to produce vapor.

Types of electronic cigarettes:

Pod format:

The Pod, also known as a Pod Mod, is a new generation of models. It usually has a compact size and is mainly used for vaping alternative e-liquids such as nicotine salts or CBD. Pods can also be effective with classic e-liquids with high nicotine content and less glycerin. Pods can operate at low power, which allows for longer battery life and less e-liquid consumption. They are easy to use and maintain, making them a popular choice for beginners in vaping.

Tube Format:

The tube electronic cigarette is a stick-shaped model. Discreet and often small in size, it easily fits in a pocket. Electronic cigarettes of this category consist of a rechargeable battery with a good capacity and a removable (or non-removable) atomizer. There are also "AIO" (All in One) electronic cigarette kits, in which the tank is directly built-in. The format of this electronic cigarette is easy to use, usually requiring minimal or no adjustments, and the battery automatically recognizes the coil and directs the required power.

"Box" Format:

An e-cigarette in the "box" format gets its name from the rectangular shape of the battery, resembling a box. These kits have a high-capacity battery, usually with specially designed batteries for vaping, which are usually not included in the kit. There are also box mod models that can accommodate multiple batteries. This format allows for longer vaping enjoyment and can achieve high power.

The choice of e-cigarette type depends on individual preferences, vaping experience, and user needs. Within each of these categories, there are many different models, brands, and designs offering different features and capabilities. It is important to choose the right type of e-cigarette based on personal preferences and knowledge.
