MTL

MTL is an abbreviation for "mouth-to-lung," which refers to a vaping style where the user inhales vapor into their mouth before inhaling it into their lungs. This style is often used by beginner vapers and those who want to mimic traditional smoking.

DL

DL stands for "direct-to-lung", which means inhaling vapor directly into the lungs when using electronic cigarettes. In this vaping style, the user immediately inhales the vapor into the lungs without pausing in the mouth, resulting in denser and more intense vapor. Free, hookah-style draw.

Throat Hit

Throat hit (TH) - is a sensation of a burning or stabbing effect in the throat when inhaling vapor from an electronic cigarette or other liquid vaporizing devices. This sensation can be more or less pronounced depending on the device settings and the nicotine content in the liquid.

Atomizer

An atomizer is the top part of an e-cigarette that holds the liquid and turns it into vapor for vaping, using a heating element and an atomization chamber.

Mod

Mod - a device that controls the output power to the heating element for producing vapor. It can be mechanical (without an electronic board) or electronic (with a chip that allows regulating power and other parameters). Mods typically use replaceable batteries or built-in batteries.

Kit

KIT - a set of several components, which usually consists of a mod and an atomizer. In some cases, it may also include additional accessories, such as spare glasses, coils, etc. This is a convenient solution for beginners who want to start vaping and do not want to buy components separately.

Stick

A Stick is a type of electronic cigarette that has a stick-like shape. They are usually small in size and come with a built-in battery or, in some cases, a replaceable one. They are easy to use and carry around.

Pod

Pod - a type of compact e-cigarette that consists of two parts: a mod and a replaceable capsule. The capsules usually have a small liquid capacity and power, making them ideal for beginner vapers and users who prefer compact and lightweight devices.

Mech-Mod

Mech-mod (Mechanical Mod) is a type of e-cigarette without an electronic board (there are no protections against overheating or short circuits), which operates on the principle of a simple electrical contact between the battery and the heating element. It has a more direct current output, higher power, and is desirable for use by experienced vapers.

Squonk

Squonk (Squonk mod) - a type of device that uses a liquid bottle, which is installed inside the mod. When the bottle is pressed, the liquid is fed from it into the atomizer reservoir for convenient dosing of liquid without the need to manually drip it. Typically used by people in combination with an RDA for ease of use.

RDA

RDA - it stands for "Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer". It is a type of rebuildable atomizer for electronic cigarettes that allows the user to install their own coils and directly add liquid onto the coils, providing a more flavorful and intense vapor. (usually has a liquid well capacity of no more than 2ml)

RTA

RTA stands for "Rebuildable Tank Atomizer", which is a rebuildable atomizer with a tank for e-liquid. RTAs allow users to install their own coils and add e-liquid to the tank, providing a more flavorful experience and longer usage time without the need for constant refilling.

RDTA

RDTA (Rebuildable Dripping Tank Atomizer) - is a type of rebuildable atomizer for e-cigarettes that combines the advantages of RDA and RTA. RDTA has a tank for e-liquid, which allows the user to add e-liquid directly onto the coils, as in an RDA, but also has a liquid capacity, like an RTA, providing longer use without the need for constant refilling.

Tank

Tank Atomizer (also known as clearomizer) - is a type of atomizer for e-cigarettes that has a liquid reservoir (usually from 2 to 6ml), which allows users to use the device for a longer time without the need for constant refilling. It also has replaceable and ready-to-use coils, which simplifies the process of replacement and maintenance.

Coils

Atomizer coil is the part of your vaping device that heats the e-liquid to its boiling point to create the vapor you inhale. It is a small piece that contains a pre-installed wire coil and cotton. The resistance, wattage, and inner design of the coil affect the flavor delivery, vapor production, and overall performance.

RBA

RBA - short for "Rebuildable Atomizer", is a type of rebuildable coil that allows users to install their own coils and adjust the atomizer's parameters according to their needs. Unlike standard atomizers, where coils are pre-installed and cannot be replaced, RBA provides a more flexible approach to setting up the atomizer for a richer and personalized vaping experience.

Sub-Ohm

Sub-ohm is a term that refers to using a coil with a resistance of less than 0.5 ohms. Such coils require a more powerful device that provides a greater energy flow for heating, and are usually intended for producing denser and more intense vapor.

OHM

Ohm - is a unit of measurement of resistance used in vaping to describe how difficult it is for current to pass through the coil in the atomizer. The higher the resistance in ohms, the less power will be required to heat the coil and vaporize the liquid, which can affect the intensity and quality of the vapor.

Spiral / Coil

Spiral (coil) - it is a heating element, usually made of kanthal, stainless steel or nichrome, which converts electrical current into heat and vaporizes liquid in the atomizer. The coil is usually twisted into a coil and placed inside cotton wick, which absorbs liquid and provides contact between the coil and liquid. Different coil configurations, such as the number of wraps and their diameter, can affect the characteristics of vaporization and the taste of the liquid.

Mesh

Mesh - is a new generation of heating element used in electronic cigarettes that uses mesh material instead of traditional coils. The mesh has low resistance and a high evaporation area, unlike coils. This provides more even and fast heating of the liquid, which improves the taste and quality of the vapor.

Deck

Deck ("platform" or "baseplate") is a part of a rebuildable atomizer where coils are installed and is usually located between the base of the atomizer and the cap. Different types of rebuildable atomizers have different types and configurations of decks, which can vary in terms of post quantity, post spacing, size, and shape of the coils that can be installed on them.

Drip-tip

Drip-tip - a replaceable mouthpiece that is installed on the top of an atomizer. It can also be used to change the characteristics of the vapor, such as temperature, flavor, and throat hit.

Airflow

Airflow  is a system that regulates the flow of air in an atomizer for electronic cigarettes. It allows the user to adjust the intensity and direction of the airflow, which can affect the taste, amount of vapor, and the tightness of the draw.

Base liquid

Base liquid - this is the foundation for creating e-liquid for electronic cigarettes, which consists of propylene glycol (PG) and/or vegetable glycerin (VG). It is a tasteless and odorless base to which flavorings and nicotine (if desired) are added to obtain the final vaping liquid.

PG

PG stands for propylene glycol, which is one of the main components of the e-cigarette base liquid. Propylene glycol provides a stronger throat hit and better flavor transmission in vape juice.

VG

VG is short for vegetable glycerin, which is also one of the main components of e-cigarette base liquid. Vegetable glycerin provides a thicker and denser vapor, but weaker throat hit and less pronounced taste than propylene glycol.

Shot, Booster

Booster - is a liquid with maximum nicotine content, in Europe it's 20mg/ml, that can be added to the base liquid in different proportions to increase its nicotine strength.

Salt

Salt in vaping is a special type of nicotine that undergoes a specific process to make the throat hit smoother and more readily absorbed into the body. It is often used in lower-powered devices such as POD systems, and is typically used with higher concentrations of nicotine compared to traditional nicotine.

Shortfill

Shortfill - is a large bottle of slightly diluted flavoring that is not completely filled, leaving room for the completion of the liquid with nicotine or base liquid. This allows users to enjoy large volumes of liquid without the need to buy many small bottles. Shortfill bottles are usually supplied in 50ml or larger volumes and contain 0mg of nicotine.

LongFill

Longfill - a large bottle with a small amount of flavoring. To complete the preparation of the liquid, you need to add a base liquid and nicotine if necessary.

HNB

HNB (Heated Tobacco Product) - a type of tobacco smoking product that uses heating to create vapor, rather than burning tobacco like traditional cigarettes. This is considered a safer way to consume tobacco, as no smoke is generated during the heating process, which contains many harmful substances.

Tobacco sticks

Tobacco sticks - these are small plastic cigarettes filled with compressed tobacco, which are used in HNB devices to heat tobacco. Unlike traditional cigarettes, tobacco sticks do not contain paper filters and can have various flavors. They are inserted into the device and heated to make the tobacco start vaporizing, rather than burning, which is considered a safer way of using tobacco.

Dry Herb

Dry herb  - is a device that involves using dry, non-portioned tobacco. This method does not burn tobacco but vaporizes it, which is a safer way of consuming tobacco compared to traditional smoking.

IP67,68

IP67 and IP68 are standards of protection against external factors used in electronics and other areas. IP stands for "International Protection" and consists of two numbers, where the first one describes protection against dust and the second one - against water. IP67 provides protection against dust and complete immersion in water to a depth of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, while IP68 provides protection against dust and complete immersion in water at a deeper depth and for a longer time.

Dry Hit

A dry hit is a situation that occurs when the heating element of an electronic cigarette is not sufficiently soaked with e-liquid and begins to heat dry cotton, leading to an unpleasant taste and odor, as well as is potentially harmful to health.

Vape band

Vape Band - is a silicone or rubber ring that is typically placed on the glass of the atomizer (to protect it) or other parts of the vaping device to protect it from damage and scratches. They can also be used for better grip and to prevent the device from slipping in the hand.
